You might recognize Chase. You might not. He’s from another short story I wrote called Wish Delivery. In any case, next month, he shows up to have a sort of cameo. And someone else shows up too, much to Ari’s chagrin. And of course, five stories in, things have to actually heat up. It’s inevitable.
